Valley School Library Mission

The mission of the Valley Middle School Library: is to provide materials on core curriculum subjects and personal interests both in print and non-print formats; to support education and research in an intellectually and culturally open environment; to encourage students and staff to become effective users of ideas and information; to collect, organize, and facilitate access of information in print and non-print formats; and to promote life-long reading and learning both for pleasure and for information.

It's the place to be!!

Come on in to your school Library to check out an SSR book, get some homework done, find a quiet spot to read or find out what new books we have purchased. We have a great selection of both fiction (narrative) and non-fiction (informative) books in both print and eBooks.

Need to print or make copies? We have 17 computers in the Library that are hooked up to a printer and a copier that is able to be used for school projects.

There is no frigate like a book

Emily Dickinson1830 - 1886
There is no Frigate like a Book
To take us Lands away,
Nor any Coursers like a Page
Of prancing Poetry –
This Traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of Toll –
How frugal is the Chariot
That bears a Human soul.
